The economy is being run into the ground, rich get richer and the poor get poorer and of course we are paying for a very costly, both in money and in lives, war that we nevert needed. Don't get me wrong, the war in Afghanistan was needed. The actual enemy, a guy which you may have forgotten, Osama Bin-Laden, lived there and was being protected by a fascist and extremist government. But Iraq? Come on. Those weapons of mass destruction that never existed were a good ploy to go in and finish the job Daddy dint do. Of course at the time the high-ups knew there were no such weapons but kept their mouths shut about that little fact until later. Knowing that their was no real reason to invade Iraq was what we call a war crime by the UN (The UN by the way is that global organization that we pride ourselves on leading and protecting. Hell we were one of the main countries involved in its creation in the first place). We invaded another sovereign country and removed the government without a cause. We screwed the UN and what it stands for and flipped off all countries opposed to it. AND Bush screwed us in leading us into a war he was not even prepared for and now we're paying the price. We all know Sadams grand army was a push over from the 1st gulf war but we never even thought of Muslim extremists fighting back. I guess now that I've said my peace and used my constitutional right I am a terrorist and a traitor to my country. But in reality Bush is the real traitor. Never before has there been a President so BOUGHT by companies and organizations into doing what they want and screwing you and me. Yes, I know you like him because of his stance on gay marriage, stem cell research and because he is a devout Christian. I'm glad he has opinions too, every one should have them, but that doesn't make a good leader, especial in a country where protecting a persons civil-liberties, employment opportunities, and financial future is a little more urgent than the war between conservatives and liberals. Battles over opinions is what the house of representatives is for. A president should act on logic and knowledge of what is good for the infrastructure of the country and let differences in opinions be battled by civil liberties groups. Whilst your definition of treason displayed on the site is (obviously) true, it mentions sovereign. Criticising Bush does not fall under the category because 1: it is legitimate criticism, not any kind of violation; and 2: the president is not a sovereign. He is intended to be a representative of the people. Seeing as the majority of Americans are now reconsidering their views on the Iraq war, it would see he is the traitor, for failing in his duty and role. Incidently, how do you feel about Bush I and Reagan funding terrorists and dictators, i.e. Al'Qaeda and Saddam themselves? Please note I am not being partisan. All presidents and prime ministers have funded nefarious organisations, regardless of their politcal allegance. It is enough to make you weep.

As a veteran of the US Army, I have fought for my right to free thought, I feel sorry for you and any one you may know that has blindly supported a war that has nothing to do with OUR (American) or Iraqi Freedoms. It's so sad that many of us (Americans) have been "Bushwhacked". I too was gung-ho about our getting revenge for 9/11 by tracking down Bin Laden and his cohorts. Even if it eventually meant going to Iraq - had Bin Laden been found to be there. Now that we know there are no WMDs or connections between Al-Qeda and Saddam (as most of the World tried to tell us) what do you think about this war? Now that we know that we have fewer than one third the troops on the ground in Iraq as we had during GWI (The Gulf War) while HALLIBURTON has more than 24,000 workers there, what do you think this war is really about? Now that we know that our troops are dying behind a lie, what do you think being a patriot really means? What it is NOT, is wide-eyed, hyped-up cowboyisms (if you will). I totally support the troops, for they have no choice, but I do not support the reason that so many of our young people are dying - oil. When the proverbial dust settles, the truth, ugly as it will be, will come out. 52% of our country was tricked into believing in something that is turning out to be a lie, a twisted dirty lie. With nearly 2,000 Americans gone forever - I pray that "sites" like this one will commemorate those who gave ultimately. I also hope that you are Patriotic enough to recognize how you were led down a dark path of deception and pray for forgiveness from those families of the fallen. Although I respect your opinions and political points of view, it is ridiculous to suggest that anyone who opposes or questions an authoritative figure is a traitor. This country was founded on rebellion and expressing one's beliefs. The act of someone protesting or speaking their mind is really just their way of expressing concern and love for this country, in that they are willing to try and fix its problems to make it "a more perfect union". And if we were to all go by your definition of what a traitor really is, then most of our Forefathers, such as Thomas Jefferson, would be hung for treason. I am a veteran of the first gulf war, and I think I have something to say about what is happening to our republic. I served 5 years in the USMC. When I returned home toward the end of 1991, I got sick. The sickness continues today. I have Gulf War Syndrome, the illness that was not even covered by VA or any medical insurance. I then come to find out that the government didn't even admit that there was a Gulf War Syndrome. I had it very hard time trying to survive with a wife and new baby while sick. People who are against the war are being accused of “not supporting the troops.” Let me put things in a clearer perspective. Let’s say that the President decided to invade Canada without provocation. Absurd? Absolutely! But with the mentality of today’s fearful uninformed society, Bush zealots, who no longer use logical deduction, would argue that he “must have a good reason”. In contrast, those protesting this idea would be labeled by these zealots as “unpatriotic liberals” and therefore, “not supporting our troops.” As if supporting the troops and their families had anything to do with the illogic of an unprovoked invasion of a friendly country. What happened to “we the people…?” That statement is not, “…we the Bush?” George Bush is not America, America is not George Bush! George Bush is also not Jesus, Jesus is not George Bush. His decisions are not the totality of what America and Christianity stands for. Thank God!! When we choose to oppose what our elected leaders do, we are being patriotic – it is our duty to speak up. And what happened to the debate about issues? Our President is supposed to represent the people. Congress is supposed to represent the people. I am a patriot. I served in the military and am now trying to defend our rights and civil liberties, which I believed I was fighting for. Why is it when people stand up for their rights now, they are investigated by the FBI (see the Matrix - MATRIX database system, supposedly a state-level program that digs through commercial and government databases that allegedly can “spot terrorists.” It turns out that the program investigated a list of 120,000 people deemed to have a “high terrorist factor.”) (http://www.*******.org/)? We are setting a dangerous precedent here that few realize. Give a few rights away today for security’s sake, and have a possible police state tomorrow. The new Patriot Act under section USPA ß 802 makes ordinary citizens who disagree with the direction the President is taking, “Domestic Terrorists.” This is in direct violation of the First Amendment. Under USPA ß 215 the government can access your library records and book purchases if it suspects you are a terrorist. Under “Attorney Generals Edict for Increased Surveillance on Religious and Political Organizations,” it opens the door to COINTELPRO operations that allow the government to harass and attack people and groups who disagree with the government on civil rights issues (http://www.********/Repeal.pdf). Do you feel safer now? Now, our troop-supporting president initially proposed to cut imminent danger pay for those in combat. In addition, family separation allowances were also proposed to be cut totaling more than $225 a month of lost pay for our troops. I can vouch that military families are poor families. He allowed torture of Iraqi prisoners by setting the atmosphere, and by not admonishing the Secretary of Defense for the abuse at Abu Ghirhab. Surprisingly, blame was laid on the lower ranks. Do people actually think that a group of lower ranking enlisted men and women decided one day to torture their captives because they – as Rush Limbaugh put it - needed to “blow off steam?” I can tell you that I know, as a prior enlisted man in the Marine Corps that nothing happens in your unit unless the upper command knows and controls it. This is not to say that those who performed these acts are not guilty to some extent for following illegal orders. Ironically, George Bush claimed that Donald Rumsfeld was doing a great job during this critical time. Recently, the 9/11 Commission found absolutely no evidence that Iraq had conspired with Al Qaeda and had no weapons of mass destruction. George Bush chose to invade Iraq without Congressional oversight, without UN approval, and without any other credible justification. And at the time he activated a “stop loss” initiative preventing troops from returning home when their time was up. Now certain Bush zealots are attacking Michael Moore for showing his version of the Bush 9/11 story. His movie named "Fahrenheit 9/11," is just about what came out of the president's mouth. Why are people trying to suppress information that may be important – what is there to hide? People’s beliefs should stand on the truth, if they don’t, then their beliefs are just illusion. If you don’t like Michael Moore and what he’s doing, then hey, stay home and don’t see the movie. But don’t try and stop the movie, which is akin to burning books. The Media thrives on fear. That is why our republic is dying and we cannot even debate issues anymore - because the people with money and power always win. They threaten, intimidate, and push around poorer people and misrepresent fact. Threaten reporters with loss of career. Only very few individuals own the totality of television media. These few individuals have enormous influence on the masses. Radio is not much different with Clear Channel that own most of talk radio. So when the media says that those opposing the war don’t support the troops it is a well-crafted lie. They DO support the troops. That is why they trying to bring them home. The media is like a magician; all they need is a little misdirection and slight of hand. When you say people aren't supporting the troops, you mean that they are not just accepting each and every military action that the president demands. Why don't the supposed troop (war) supporters spend a year in Afghanistan, or 3 months in Somalia, or even 9 months in the Persian Gulf like I did? Why don’t those who haven’t served, spend that time away from their families - away from your big screen TV's, lounge chairs and Mercedes Benz. Serving on a ship without air-conditioning and near dogfood-like meals (USS New Orleans in ’91), or in broken tents on the hot sand with 45-knot winds in Saudi Arabia. Most people who say that people against the war, “don't support the troops” never even served. Most “war supporters” are pointing at the images on CNN on their couches demanding retribution for violence that the biased news has fed them – a kind of “couch commander” if you will. What would most people do if another country invaded America? They would defend it. As many Iraqis do when invaded. Right or wrong they are afraid of dying, and so are trying to defend themselves. So please, do not speak for me or any other veteran who did serve during a theater of war because you don't represent me. You haven’t been there. Your family has not worried for your safe return. You have not gotten sick and been too poor to move. You have not breathed rotting flesh and burning oil. You represent the President and his anti-constitution, anti-middleclass, anti-poor, anti-veteran, anti-environmental, war mongering, new world order agenda. I AM A VETERAN, I AM AGAINST THE WAR, and I do support the troops! Why don't you take a survey and find out how well most veterans are doing? Then we will all find out who really supports the troops! It is not about Right or Left, Republican or Democrat, do what you can to  protect your rights, or the republic is dead. Trust me you won't recognize America if George W. has another 4 years of his agenda.

Having said that I would like to comment on the alarming number of Pro-Bush/Pro-War advocates who continually call protesters "Traitors" and "Un-American". Have we gone mad? What is the point of having a free society if we are going to lash out at people who don't agree with our government or president. That sounds like a different kind of country to me. I was just wondering why the members of a democracy are not allowed to question the policies of their leaders for fear of being branded a traitor. it would seem that a traitor in a true democracy would be those who seek to deny Constitutional guarantees like freedom of speech to its citizens, because those who do that would seem to be going against the whole idea of freedom. can you please explain this to me? I'm a junior in high school and kinda confused about the nature of democracy. I had to laugh a little when I started reading through your site, wondering whether this was all a joke or not. If it is, you have done an excellent job! Let's talk Treason for a minute. First, this great country that you profess to love so much would not even exist if it had not been for a few treasonous thinkers about 235, or so, years ago. That is exactly what every single person you have labeled a traitor has said. Now, let's talk "Bush and his Republican cronies" for a minute. To begin with, Bush was not really "elected" by a majority of voters; so his very presence in office is treasonous, and could in many ways be compared to a take-over, a "coup de tat" without the force. And now they are waging a homeland war against all of our civil liberties. I find it amazing that Bush & Co. can pass tax cuts that send money, in any significant quantity, back to the wealthiest 1% of the nation's population, causing major cutbacks in state budgets for things like healthcare and education (not that education is important to you); send young men and women off to fight in a war, and then while they're off fighting, Bush & Co. attempt to sneak a budget through Congress that will reduce the benefits of the very military men and women he sent to fight this war, at least for those of them who might return, and still, you say he is a "Patriot." Bush was running out of time for his little war; he knew that he only had a small window of time in which to get this war pushed through before the beginning of the election year, and he does not want to go into the election year with this war hanging over him. That is the reason he pushed this war through as quickly as possible, without regard for what it is doing to the rest of the International community, of which the U.S. is a member. Of course, I don't think he's really able to consider more than one point at a time, anyway. The simple fact is that there is absolutely nothing that you can point to that supports your position that Bush is a Patriot. There is absolutely nothing Bush has done that has, or will, benefit this country as a whole; everything he has done will benefit only certain small "special-interest" groups who 'own' him and his "Congressional cronies." And the majority of the nation's population will pay the price for all of this for decades to come AFTER Bush is out of office. I saw your disclaimer parody. If you call Clinton a traitor and bush a patriot, you need to go to school. Clinton had done more good to the american economy, unity, and international stability than any other presidents. Lets look at bush, after he had been president, the economy is a disaster, people had been split up and fighting at each other on the Iraq issue, and he had made a mess in the UN as nations disagree and turn against each other on the same issue. If bush had done any good to the US, it is some of the few actions he had done right after 9/11. I hope you'll do me the favor of reading and responding to this note as it if were written by a borderline-intelligent person... Here's why I'm against the attacks. As cruel and barbaric a dictator as Saddam is, we are not, alas, allowed to go in and replace him. Nor would it be all right for us to replace the many dictators worldwide whom we either installed and now support, or simply support. There are a great many of these! There are all kinds of things that the U.S. would like to do -- and that I'd like to do as a regular guy in NYC -- that are just, dammit, out of bounds. For instance, every day on my way to work I pass a dazzling display of diamond necklaces in the windows of Tiffany's on Fifth Avenue. I'd love to snatch those necklaces. If I did, I'D HAVE THE NECKLACES!!! 90% of the American public would rejoice at the fact that I was now a wealthy man with a hoard of valuable stones. But the fact is, I would have done myself a great deal more harm than good. Our greatest treasure as a nation is the moral high ground that we, through incalculable toil and expense, have gained over the two centuries of our existence. Isn't the essence of morality the ability to treat people fairly, even when you have the ability to define fairness as what benefits you? Worldwide, this idea is beginning to catch on. The trend is unmistakable. It's the spread of world order, meaning global democracy -- meaning nations agreeing and cooperating -- and treating themselves as fellow creatures -- versus the horseshit we had in World War II, with the most powerful nation ordering the weaker nations around. This was in fact the dominant model for the first several millennia of our existence. It resulted in a world you wouldn't want to have lived in. The great conflict you should be thinking about is CONSENSUS vs. THE RULE OF MIGHT, rather than the U.S. vs. France or Iraq or whatever. If all nations are equal, and make decisions based on constitutional principles of fairness, there's hope for a peaceful world. If the most powerful country rules -- even if it's your own "moral" nation -- then the most we can hope for is a temporary monopoly on power. When the next guy gets an up on us, we're screwed, because we haven't invested in establishing democracy among nations, and have nothing to say. If you get raw power and abuse it, your "morality" will be laughed at when raw power is inflicted upon you. That is why the dominant power of the U.S. must be tempered by consideration for international consensus and respect for other nation's sovereignty. The U.N. has declared that we're in violation of international law by invading the borders of Iraq. The vast majority of people worldwide simply think this current military action is an illegal aggression -- outside the bounds of intenrnational law -- by a superpower against a non-power. I imagine you've been in favor of the invasion. How about George W. Bush, for deliberately fighting a war without the full support of the American people, which make up our country and are the ruling sovereigns (in theory alone, I painfully admit). The President is NOT the sovereign, by any means; he is a willfully elected official who swears to act in the best interest of the nation and is, or at least should be, a replaceable slave to the American people. In fact, this war is purely a person vendetta from his father: First of all, the honest reason Bush is going to war is to finish what his father started, plain and simple. GHW Bush once served as the director of the CIA, then immediately afterwards, as Vice President to Ronald Reagan. During his Vice Presidency, there is little doubt that he was in charge of foreign affairs (do some research if you think this is BS). Coincidently, during this time, Hussein mysteriously came upon large amounts of American weaponry for his war against Iran... Where was Hussein getting his arms from? Well, believe it or not, from the good ol' USA! Not only did he receive arms to fight the war against Iran, but the US decided to include a nice CIA aid package, too. In case you think this is bullshit as well, try asking someonewho you consider learned and unbiased (and old enough) about "Iraqgate", as it was dubbed. I suppose you could try to Google it as well. I should note that Donald Rumsfeld played a role in this matter as well, having befriended GHW Bush during their stays in Congress in the '60s. To go along with the preceding ideas, I could go on to explain how Bush wanted to run for President when Reagan did, how he finagled his way to running as Vice President under Reagon when Reagan was chosen to run as Prez, how Hinckley, the man who attempted to assassinate Reagon has ties to the Bushes (the Hinckleys owned an oil company, made charitable donations to Bush during his campaign AGAINST Reagan, etc.), but I'll spare you the details. The point is, Bush wanted to be calling all the shots, and the length at which he went to so is downright incredible. But eventually, as we all know, he became President, and he would later rule again through his brainless puppet, GW Bush, and through his friends Rumsfeld, Cheney, and Powell. I digressed. Later on, during the war with Iran, it became abundantly clear that Hussein was concerned only with his own interests, so those that created and armed him now wanted to stop him (Hussein had attacked Iran's oil fields and had begun his now infamous atrocious ethnic cleansing of Kurds). When Bush took the reins of Presidency, the US began bombing Iraq; for invading Kuwait, I suppose... right? The bombing began after the completion of the seizure of Manuel Noriega, the Panamese dictator involved in a large drug cartel. Powell was in charge of this operation (he was now the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff), and following its completion, he was in charge of Operation Desert Storm and the Persian Gulf War. In addition, Dick Cheney was Secretary of Defense during this period. The war ended prematurely, allowing Husseing to live to fight another day. Two years later, Hussein made an attempt on GHW Bush's life. Fast-forwardingto the present time, we now see why GW Bush wants SO badly to invade Iraq and kill Hussein. No mystery: he is simply following his father's orders, either directly or in the guise of advice from Powell, Rumsfeld, and Cheney. I hope I have shedded some light on this subject, because the whole disarmament BS and what-not is just a ploy; think about it: is war truly necessary RIGHT NOW to disarm Iraq? NO! But, it certainly fits nicely with this whole war on Terror thing, doesn't it? If GHW doesn't do it now, will he truly have another chance? I hope you took the time to read through this and consider adding the following to your traitor list: GHW and GW Bush, Richard Cheney, Colin Powell, and Donald Rumsfeld. Why? I cannot support President Bush as a person; however, even though I don't believe we Americans actually elected him, I support him as the President of our great United States. If he chooses to go to war, I will support him; however, we better have a good outcome, i.e., we better win; we better continue fighting until Saddam has either been captured or is dead; and, we better continue fighting until the new Iraqi democratic government is established. Whether or not we go to war, the economy had better improve without the "trickle-down" effect having been used. The "trickle-down" effect has never been effective except for those at the top. Those of us at the bottom get the waste after those at the top have taken what they want. If the economy does not improve, I think I can safely say that Bush is highly unlikely to be reelected. I was given your site by a friend as a "isn't this the most hilarious thing you've ever seen" kind of thing, but was quite quickly disgusted. I'm not going to send you hate mail full of insults and poor grammar/spelling, though. Now, today America boasts over 300 million citizens, and a society of this magnitude makes democratic rule impossible. This was the case even in the 1770s and 1780s when our nation was being forged. So, in order to create a stable, working government, our nation was formed as a democratic republic. A Republican government is one in which the people elect representatives to carry out their will. These representatives are not there to carry out their own will, but to listen to the opinions of all the people of the United States and act on their behalf. Let me repeat that for you: these representatives are not there to carry out their will, but instead to act on the behalf of the citizenry. You seem to think that if someone disagrees with what President Bush thinks, they are a traitor, when in fact your statement is backwards. President Bush should be labeled a traitor if he does not agree with the perceived opinion of the majority of citizens. That is how our government works. The people are the leaders, but they need figureheads. Our representatives can have no power and no opinion that we do not give them. So, in order for them to get these, we must speak out. Far too few people these days speak out to have their views represented in government, and I think that most of the people on your "traitors" list should be on a "Patriot List" (I say most because you do have some terrorists and the like on there. People who take up arms to try to kill, maim, or generally hurt the people of a democratic society are not patriots. Our system accounts for their views, too, and the domestic terrorists should learn to work within the system). A recent study concluded that close to 50% of Americans do not believe that President Bush has adequately displayed the need for a war in Iraq. But how many are speaking out about it? A few tens of thousands, if that, out of 150 million. The only thing to say about that is that it is depressing. In my mind, anyone who openly speaks their view is a hero. I was hoping you could explain to me a term that appeared on several occasions on your website. What exactly is meant by "Tree-Hugger"? Is it the peoples who value the environment, their children’s futures, and the well being of others over the financial accumulation of wealth by so very few? And then there is the issue of green peace activists who could willingly adopt this label during the course of their exploits. The nation was in a terrible state of depression and was still reeling from the devastating loss in World War I. A kind, sweet man by the name of Adolph Hitler was able to unite his peoples through a single cause, and turn around an economy on the brink by engaging in warfare. Hello fellow American. I am an activist working to protect all Americans and all human beings from communism, dictators, and anyone who is infringing on freedoms. I believe that people who love their country the most are the one's that are trying to make it better. Even though America is the worlds strongest country it still has almost 80 million people living in poverty, at least 40 million without healthcare, and millions more are at risk of terrorist actions. As great as America is, things need to be done to ensure the well-being of others. Going to demonstrate what you believe in is not a bd thing. If people didn't demonstrate back in the 1770's, what would have happened? If people didn't demonstrate for civil rights in the 1950's/60's what would have happened? We need to live in a world where peace and justice prevail; as George Bush goes to war over oil needs our nation will be put in grave danger -going to war in the Middle East will only create more terrorists. And once we fight a war to kill those terrorists, only more terrorists will emerge. The last thing I want is America to be like Israel; and a war with Iraq could put us in that position. My request to you, as some one who loves America, but greatly wishes to improve the quality of life for all human beings, is to understand that being a patriot has nothing to do with supporting all of our Presidents decisions. Your site is the most infuriating and aggravating thing I've ever looked at. I suggest you try some independant news sources, and try to break out of the brainwashed state you are obviously in. The WORST thing I read on this page was this ignorant and plain laughable statement.  

THE ENVIRONMENT!! THAT'S ITS THE ENVIRONMENT!! THESE PEOPLE ARE INSANE. THEY SHOULD BE HAULED OFF TO A LOCATION WERE THEY MAY NOT SPEAK THERE MIND. First of all, everyone on earth is entitled to their own opinion, and no one should be hauled away so they can't speak their mind. Secondly, the environment is in worse shape than it has ever been. Corporations are raping the land both in our country and oversees, and every decision Bush has made about the environment has been thoughtlessly pro-business. The environment is the most important thing anyone could be thinking about, and it always will be. You are not thinking about the future, and neither is our government, especially our president.  Calling protesters "anti american" is an easy way for you to group everyone with different ideas than you into one big category. I and many other people love what our country was originally meant to be, and the freedoms that it allows us. What it has become is something completely corrupt and greedy, where congress and the house of representatives make decisions based on corporate donations and solely for personal gain. Even though we all know that fossil fuels are running out and are polluting the environment, Bush does nothing to promote alternate energy sources, and continues to make foreign policy/trade decisions with oil companies in mind. Before you dismiss my views as stupid tree hugging crap, you should take some time to read up on the issues facing our country and the world today, and find out the facts. Blindly following our leader may keep you happy, and as a person in a prosperous, consumer based society nothing will really happen. But think about people in other countries, and think about who else Bush's decisions affect. Try independant media for your news instead of CNN Before I finish up my ranting, I must also say that your lack of professionalism and tactfullness makes it seem like this page was created by a high schooler. It warms my heart to think that although you are most likely at least twenty years older than me, I have a decent grasp of reality, whereas you do not.

Hello facist, I do have one request of you.Please remember that I am a not a right wing radical as you may be.  I am a person who sees things as they are.  Not a republican groupie as you may also be.  I just thought i would do my part for america by telling you something : You are lost, you have no idea what is going on, or what this moron is doing to our country.  I am niether a democrat or a republican, but i do know one thing, our country is in worse shape since bush took over. In the past I have favored no party affiliations, but I have to ask...did you fly your flag at half staff the day Sen. Wellstone died while serving his country.. or did you pop open a bottle of champagne to celebrate Norm Colemans premature victory.  At the very least.. you could mention SOMETHING in honor of this great man who died to quickly to
realize his full potential. If you notice.. the President and Vice president are not welcome at the memorial service of those who died.. for good reason.. Bush couldn't stop campaigning for the GOP victory to honor and respect those who passed on..just a few words, a day of flag at half staff. Well, at least Coleman displayed some good taste and dignity where
Bush did not. Do let me know when the people of Iraq put up a statue of President Bush in Baghdad as the "peaceful liberator of Iraq" or "Best friend of Iraqi people".  Saddam's is a threat, but not an immediate one. I don't like the guy, neither do his neighbors, but there's nothing to fear except Bush's "mushroom cloud" theory. To quote.. "those who live in denial, may eventually live in fear" sounds to me the Bush administration is already pushing the fear button. I know there's nothing to fear that we couldn't take care of with a couple neutron bombs.. and therefore Saddam wouldn't risk his legacy, but mutually assured destruction isn't something Bush believes in, he's rather scam the American public into thinking their safer with a missile defense system that "kinda" works. So much for not spending the taxpayer money on foolish endeavors. However, Bush wants to build his legacy in his daddy's name and have it written in blood of the potential hundreds that may die... oh, thats right I am getting ahead of myself aren't I? we haven't yet attacked Iraq have we? We just talk of how great it all is here in the ole USA during a political campaign that emphasizes homeland defense by wasting Iraq as it's selling point while violence against US politicians and civilians increase.. sounds like we got a solid lid on that ole terrorist thing.. now if we replace Saddam, the world will be peachy huh? Do let me know when the profile of Bush is added to Mt. Rushmore won't you? Be sure to post that day of commemoration on your website, provided that we still have social security to live on. Did you notice.. the terrorist threat isnt diminished.. two men held the DC area captive for weeks.. just think of that all across the US and you are looking at the possible future of America, it could very well turn into another Israel. Obviously you favor martial law, tear gas and mace to constitutional rights. So let the GOP's go ahead and wave their banner on high while things get screwed up even more.. and you can kiss the word democracy goodbye. By he way..  I have read your website with much interest.  Your hatred of Bush
haters is both amusing and nieve.  It is becoming increasing apparent that
Bush's war on terrorism is, in fact, terrorism itself.  Up to three times as
many innocent Afgan civilians were killed in the bombing raids than in the
9/11 attacks.  Now don't get me wrong, 9/11 is a tragedy and I deplore the
act,  but no one has had the honesty to state why it happened.  It was a
reaction, however wrong, to years of American domination and terrorism.  No
one mentions that America financed Bin Laden, gave him all he needed.  I do
not hate America, but I hate Bush and his right-wing, oil-driven policies. 
I shall leave you with a quote that perhaps perfectly sums up Bush and his
approach, "It's amazing I won.  I was running against peace, prosperity, and
incumbency."  I faithfully await your reply.
